STOMATOLOGY (Dental Service)

Different services are available within the department, including Dental restoration, a treatment used to restore the function, integrity, and morphology of missing tooth structure resulting from caries, genetic teeth disorders or external trauma.

The department also deals with Tooth Extraction, focusing on removing hopeless tooth (which have become unrestorable through tooth decay, periodontal disease, or dental trauma) from its socket. Scaling and root planning, a dental procedure involving the removal of plaque and calculus stuck above and below the gum line, as well as Oral health education, encouraging the prevention of oral diseases through proper hygiene and regular dental checkups (twice or more yearly) for professional cleaning and evaluation.

Dental Radiology is also part of our dental therapy services, dealing with taking and interpreting dental X-rays for proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
